BBQ Cooks Wanted for Platte Valley Ribfest 2026

Fire up the smokers and get ready -- Platte Valley Events, Inc. is officially calling all BBQ cooks to be part of the Platte Valley Ribfest, happening June 26-28, 2026 at Ag Park in Columbus, Nebraska.

This highly anticipated, family-friendly event brings together mouthwatering BBQ, live music, local vendors and a whole lot of community spirit for three days of smoke, sound and sizzle.

A Weekend Full of Flavor & Fun

Ribfest isn't just about great food -- it's a full experience. The event will feature:

• A competitive BBQ cooking segment
• A variety of food vendors and crafters
• Live music and entertainment throughout the weekend.

Event Hours:

• Friday and Saturday: 4 p.m. to midnight
• Sunday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Whether you're competing, vending or attending, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
